In a significant step towards addressing the growing need for housing, the Township of Woolwich has purchased land at 22 Church Street West and 6 Maple Street in Elmira.
Woolwich Township has made an impressive leap on the 2024 Globe and Mail Canada’s Most Livable Cities list, climbing 24 spots to secure the 35th position among 448 communities evaluated nationwide. The annual ranking celebrates communities offering exceptional quality of life, and Woolwich’s upward trajectory is a testament to its growing appeal as a place to play, live, work, and thrive.
Between December 1st until March 31st every year, parking is prohibited on Township roads during 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
The Association recognizes that marketing a community is an integral part of the economic development
profession, therefore provides The Marketing Canada Awards competition as an opportunity to exchange
and review promotional and marketing material produced by municipalities across the country.
